We have one, two and three bedroom townhouses each with a basement. Rent is based on 30% of gross income. The apartments are conveniently located next to the elementary school and within walking distance to the middle school. We have our own playgrounds on site for children and 24 hour maintenance staff on call. Washer and dryer hook-ups are available in each apartment.
Tenants have to pay for natural gas heating and electric. The Evart Housing Commission pays for water and trash removal. Friendly office staff available to answer any questions you may have. Please feel free to come and check out our facility.

The building is enclosed so you can get to everything through the building without having to go outside, but also have an outside door to enjoy your outside living space. Meals on wheels lunch program is offered between 3 and 4 days a week where seniors can have lunch for a donation fee, or you can just hang out and relax. We have a laundry facility on site. The Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher was designed to provide rental assistance to households who are qualified and eligible to receive it. The program is federally regulated and funded through the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Rental Assistance payments are made by the Evart Housing Commission to participating property owners on a monthly basis to cover all or a portion of the rent due for the tenants who are active participants in the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program. The objective of the program is to provide affordable, decent, safe, and sanitary housing to low income residents.
